APPSC Group 3, Group 4 , Panchayat Secretary Selection Process:

Selection criteria is nothing but evaluating the skills, knowledge, qualifications/abilities, etc of the applicants to check whether his/her profile suits the job or not. In order to recruit talented applicants, the authorities will conduct the following selection rounds :-

– Preliminary Examination
– Document Verification

Education Qualification: The candidate must have completed the Graduation/Bachelor’s Degree in relevant specialization from any recognized university or board with a minimum aggregate of marks.

Nationality: A candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Age Limit: For General Candidates the minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 42 years.

Upper age relaxation is applicable to the reserved candidates as per the norms of the government.

OBC candidates: 3 years
SC/ST candidates: 5 years
PWD candidates: 10 years
OBC + PWD candidates: 13 years
SC/ST + PWD candidates: 15 years

Note: Group 3, Group 4 , Panchayat Secretary Exam has NEGATIVE MARKING For each wrong answer will be penalized with 1/3rd of the marks prescribed for the question.

PAPER I – GENERAL STUDIES & MENTAL ABILITY
Topics to be covered under this section are:

Events that are important on national and international level.
Current affairs happening on international, national, and regional level.
General Science and it’s day to day applications.
Contemporary development in Science & Information Technology.
Indian National Movement, the political history of India, and social economic history of the nation.
Geography of India and Andhra Pradesh.
Disaster Management with the topics like vulnerability profile, prevention and mitigation strategies, Application of Remote Sensing and GIS in the assessment of Disaster
Indian Polity & Governance including reforms, public policies, and constitutional issues.
Environmental Protection & Sustainable Development
Logical reasoning, logical interpretation, and analytical ability.
Basic data analysis, tabulation of data, visual representation of data, and interpretation of data.
